Agnes Creek Yurt

Tucked above the banks of Agnes Creek and surrounded by towering pines, this yurt is one of our most popular locations due to its access to amazing hiking and backcountry ski terrain. Agnes Creek Yurt sits just below the trailhead to Lake Agnes and a few yards away from Nokhu Hut separated by a small stand of trees making it perfect for groups. Enjoy incredible views of the Nokhu Crags, Mt Richthofen, and Diamond Peak. In the summer, there are several gorgeous hiking trails to explore such as the Lake Agnes Trail and the American Lakes trail. In the winter, there is an abundance of backcountry skiing terrain such as Diamond Peak and Nokhu Crags.

$200 - $225 / Night

Included in Rental

Agnes Creek is fully equipped with (2) twin over full bunk beds. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, percolator, propane cooktop, wood stove and a solar system for lighting. Outside you will find the vault toilet room, stacked wood, and outdoor grill that can be used with the supply of your own charcoal.

What to Bring

You will want to bring bedding/sleeping bag, pillows, food, water, wash cloths, and garbage bags. We are a pack-in, pack-out experience with a long-standing tradition of leaving the cabin better than you found it, inside and out. Please triple check you gathered all of your belongings and food (including spices, condiments, coffee) before you leave. There is a Yonder Yurt dumpster located at our office near the park entrance where you can dispose of your trash. Any littering around the yurt and in the State Forest SP will result in a fine.

What's NOT included

There are no showers or running water at this location. Guests should plan to bring their own potable water for drinking and cooking. Alternatively, guests can filter water from the Agnes Creek nearby. During winter months, water can be supplied by snowmelt and filtered. Guests will need to bring their own filtration systems. There is no wifi and very limited cell service at this location. This offers a great opportunity to unplug and enjoy the outdoors but we highly recommend bringing a Satellite phone, two-way radio, or Personal Locator Beacon in case of emergency.
